KC NWSL is seeking eight to ten passionate, enthusiastic and committed Fan Experience Operations Interns to assist with varying responsibilities on or related to matchday. 
 
The Fan Experience Operations Intern plays a crucial role for the success of home matches as she/he/they will have direct influence of player, coach, game day staff and fan experience at Legends Field. These key positions will have the opportunity to work closely with KC NWSL’s merchandise, marketing, public relations and game entertainment leads to create the best experience in NWSL, the best professional women’s soccer league in the world. 
 
These key staff members will receive valuable matchday and event operations experience, as well as an understanding of how to elevate the all-around experience for all involved.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  •  Coordinate with employees/volunteers within assigned area
  • Assist with the set-up of home team, visiting team, and officials’ locker rooms
  • Assist in ensuring home matches are compliant with NWSL operating protocols 
  • Ensure suites are cleaned and properly stocked with food and beverages and applicable materials (i.e. game notes, giveaways, etc.)
  • Set merchandise tables and hang event signage
  • Ensure Pitchside Premium areas is “matchday ready” for guests
  • Help with breakdown and proper storage of KC NWSL materials following each match
  • Identify areas of improvement for the operations of the stadium
  • Other duties as assigned on and related to matchday
 
Requirements
  • Work collaboratively with others 
  • Self-starter; ability to operate independently
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to adjust on the fly and problem solve
  • Stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Willing to perform a variety of tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work nights/weekends based on club schedule
