NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ.
The Role:
Gotham FC is seeking a Temporary part-time Youth Soccer Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of its youth programming, including camps, clinics, and community initiatives across the NYC metro area. This position will play a key role in the behind-the-scenes execution of programs and events, working closely with the Head of Youth Soccer to ensure all logistics, communications, and planning are seamless and efficient.
The ideal candidate will have experience in grassroots youth soccer coaching and administration, with strong organizational and communication skills. A passion for youth development and the sport of soccer is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for various departmental tasks
- Assist with game day operations and initiatives, as needed
- Support logistics for community events such as camps and clinics
- Help manage and maintain equipment and inventory for Youth Soccer programs
- Assist in creating program registration links using the LeagueApps platform
- Support development of session plans and curriculum in the Sports Session Planner platform
- Communicate with participants and parents to provide event/program information and updates
- Help track and report attendance, feedback, and other key metrics from programs and events
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Youth Soccer
Qualifications:
- College degree is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be positive and high energy team player
- Experience working with underrepresented or underserved youth communities
- Must have weekend and daytime availability, and the ability to work untraditional hours, including occasional weekdays, evenings, and some holidays
- Must be able to travel to the venue or to an event meeting point
- Must study and understand the Gotham FC roster and club happenings
- Must be well-organized, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to stay flexible and adaptable, especially during youth soccer seasons
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to lift (25) pounds and perform some manual labor

- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate youth players through positive energy, clear instruction, and a passion for the game.
- Judgement: Ability to respectfully interact with different types of people within the youth soccer community
- Flexibility: Comfortable adjusting sessions and communication style based on age group, weather, attendance, and other changing circumstances.
- Problem Solving: Must be resourceful and possess strong decision-making skills
- Spanish Speaking Skills: Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
Location:
This position will require Youth Soccer Administrator to be available for youth soccer programs around New York, New Jersey & Connecticut. The Gotham FC’s business office is located at 15 Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey. Gotham FC Youth Soccer Administrator must be able to travel to the office periodically to pick up all event items/needs ahead of the season. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise, is required. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility, and Sports Illustrated Stadium.
