The Role:
Gotham FC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Ticket Sales & Event Operations Coordinator to support both revenue generation and matchday execution. This hybrid role plays a critical part in driving group ticket sales while ensuring seamless delivery of fan-facing experiences and game day operations.

This hybrid role plays a critical part in driving group ticket sales while ensuring seamless delivery of fan-facing experiences and game day operations.
This position sits at the intersection of Sales, Fan Experience, and Operations, working closely with internal teams and stadium partners to create a best-in-class environment for fans, partners, and community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Group Sales Support & Lead Generation
Group Sales Support & Lead Generation
- Prospect and generate leads to support Group Sales initiatives, including maintaining organized pipelines and identifying new opportunities
- Assist with outreach campaigns and coordination of group sales across youth sports, community organizations, and corporate groups
- Support Sales Representatives with group leader communication, rewards fulfillment, and youth soccer programming
Ticketing Operations
- Create and manage FEVO links for group sales campaigns, offers, and promotions
- Provide customer service support for group accounts, including ticket transfers, account troubleshooting, and general inquiries
- Assist with ticket operations, reporting, and system accuracy
Fan Experience & Matchday Execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Fan Experience packages at Gotham FC home matches
- Coordinate logistics and communication across departments to ensure seamless execution of all group and premium experiences
- Oversee on-site execution of activations, including on-field experiences, group recognitions, and premium touchpoints, liaising with game presentation managers and venue management.
- Track participation and support reporting on engagement and performance
Fan Fest & PreEvent Operations
- Support planning and execution of Fan Fest activations, including setup, breakdown, and layout coordination, including FEP check in, venue entry and staging.
- Assist with signage placement, routing, and event flow to ensure a smooth fan experience
- Serve as a liaison between Fan Experience, Operations, and other departments for Fan Fest logistics, especially for ticketed groups that are participating in Fan Fest.
- Help implement contingency plans and ensure smooth execution on matchdays
Qualifications:
- College graduate in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience with a professional sports organization, team, or league, or experience organizing and executing live events
- Experience in a sales and service role, particularly involving ticket sales for sports or other live events
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to responsibilities and workflows while anticipating operational needs and addressing potential roadblocks before they impact execution
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Capability & Other Characteristics:
- Highly detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, while prioritizing accordingly
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to collaborate across various departments, effectively listen to feedback, and provide insight to provide the highest level of production for the club
- Ability to form professional working relationships with a diverse group of individuals
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Able to pivot and make decisions quickly, as required
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to responsibilities and workflows while anticipating operational needs and addressing potential roadblocks before they impact execution.
- Comfortable proposing new ideas and developing a plan for how to execute them
- Present oneself with the utmost professionalism and be a brand ambassador for the club
Location:
Based at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey, on a hybrid part-time working schedule which consists of three days, Tuesday (in office), Wednesday (in office), and/or Thursday (in-office) as needed. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team’s soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility, and Sports Illustrated Stadium.
