NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ. The Role: Current NWSL Champion Gotham FC is seeking Game Day Operations Staff to support match day and live event execution at Sports Illustrated Arena in Harrison, NJ. This is a part-time, match-day–focused role for candidates interested in professional sports and live-event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with match day setup, operations, and breakdown throughout the stadium
- Support Fan Fest setup, operation, and breakdown, including equipment, signage, and fan-facing activations
- Assist with signage installation, hospitality areas, giveaways, and fan experience elements
- Support match day minus-one setup days when applicable, as well as select Meet the Team events and operationally work days
- Provide hands-on support across multiple areas of game day execution, including exposure to marketing and sponsor activations
Qualifications:
- Interest in sports, live events, or event operations; prior experience is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Schedule & Commitment
- Part-time, event-based hours centered around Gotham FC home matches
- Hours vary by event and may include early morning call times and late-night breakdowns
- The team’s schedule is published in advance; consistent availability for home matches is expected
Capability & Other Characteristics:
- Hands-on role involving event setup and breakdown
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Location:
Based at Gotham FC’s home stadium – Sport Illustrated Arena, which is in Harrison, NJ. Ability to
attend all home games and any mandatory events, as necessary. Gotham FC requires its
associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s
offices, practice facility and Sport Illustrated Arena, Harrison, NJ.
