NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ. The Role:
Gotham FC is seeking a Partnership Marketing Associate Manager who will be a vital part of the Partnership Marketing Team at Gotham FC. The Partnership Marketing Associate Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day fulfillment of assigned Gotham FC partnership agreements and supporting the execution of high-level partnership accounts. This is a dynamic role that cross-collaborates with the marketing, fan experience, ticket sales, communications, and soccer operations teams to execute successful partnership activations. This role will also provide direct administrative support as needed. The role demands excellent communication, time management, organizational, and client management skills. The ideal candidate is upbeat, a team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about women’s sports. Expected to perform at an industry-leading, best-in-class level, the Associate Manager role is an important part of delivering exceptional service and value to Gotham FC’s corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activation and fulfillment of assigned partnership accounts, working closely with the Partnership Marketing Manager on high-level and strategic partners.
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned Partners, building strong relationships and coordinating communication across internal departments.
- Develop thoughtful and innovative partnership marketing concepts that achieve joint Partner and Gotham FC objectives.
- Lead cross-functional execution of contracted partnership assets, including signage, events, digital and social media, hospitality, community programming, and experiential activations.
- Monitor partnership marketing plans and performance throughout the season, identifying opportunities to optimize activations and deliver additional value.
- Track and report media metrics and partnership performance across linear, digital, social, and traditional media platforms.
- Develop partner activation, theme night, mid-year, and end-of-season recaps that clearly demonstrate partnership impact and value.
- Manage hospitality experiences for senior corporate guests and partner stakeholders.
- Lead on-site execution of partner activations, including Fan Fest integrations, in-stadium giveaways, on-field presentations, hospitality, and other game day elements.
- Coordinate logistics for partnership-related events, programs, and activations from planning through execution.
- Maintain accurate partner records, asset tracking, and fulfillment documentation related to partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Marketing team to monitor overall partnership progress, identify outstanding deliverables, and prepare regular status updates.
- Partner with Marketing, Content, Communications, Fan Experience, Ticketing, Community Impact, Soccer Operations, and other internal teams to ensure successful execution and consistent promotion of partnerships.
- Support partnership-related content development and storytelling that showcases successful partner programs and activations.
- Lead LED signage inventory and minute tracking for each home match, ensuring contracted obligations are accurately fulfilled.
- Serve as the Partnerships team point-of-contact for partner-driven player appearances, coordinating logistics across Partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support broader Partnership Marketing department initiatives and additional team needs as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in partnership marketing, corporate partnerships, sponsorship activation, sports marketing, or a related field; sports and entertainment experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing partner or client relationships and executing integrated sponsorship activations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple accounts, activations, and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve challenges proactively.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Experience with Canva, Zoomph, Asana, HubSpot, or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, home matches, and other events as required.

- Bilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc.).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Location:
Based at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New Jersey, on a hybrid working schedule which consists of three core in-office/in-person days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two non-core days (Monday and Friday), with the option of being in the business office or remote. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team’s soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility and Sports Illustrated Stadium.
