Established in 2007, the Chicago Stars were a founding member of the former Women’s Professional Soccer and later became one of the original eight teams to form the National Women’s Soccer League in 2013. They are the longest continuously operating professional women’s soccer team in the United States. The Chicago Stars have made the playoffs in seven consecutive years, from 2015-2021, while also competing in three championship matches in as many years, including the 2019 and 2021 NWSL Championships and the 2020 Challenge Cup Championship.

Guest Services Ambassador (GSA)
Seasonal | Part-Time | Hourly Pay

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) is a frontline ambassador for Chicago Stars FC, responsible for delivering exceptional, welcoming, and memorable experiences for all fans, guests, and partners. GSAs play a critical role on matchdays and at select non-matchday events by providing outstanding customer service, supporting accessibility needs, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable stadium environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Matchday:
  • Welcome and assist fans at stadium entry points 
  • Provide clear directions, information, and support throughout the venue 
  • Assist guests with ADA and accessibility needs 
  • Monitor seating areas and concourses to ensure a positive guest experience 
  • Support Kids Club activities and fan engagement activations 
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for guests 
  • Assist with issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed 
  • Check-in and registration desk duties
  • Support with other matchday responsibilities as needed

Non-Matchday: 
  • Represent Chicago Stars FC at off-site events, festivals, and community activations 
  • Engage with current and potential fans in a professional and enthusiastic manner 
  • Support additional club events as assigned and available 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Customer service-oriented mindset 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills in a fast-paced environment 
  • Passion for hospitality, fan experience, and sports 
  • Proven dependability, strong accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

AVAILABILITY & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays is required 
  • Ability to stand, walk or be engaged for extended periods of time – accommodations available as needed 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions 

TRAINING & SUPPORT- must attend both 
  • One Virtual onboarding session  
  • One-day, in-person training  
No prior experience required - all training provided
