Position Overview

The Chicago Stars Football Club Event Crew will work with the Event Strategy & Facility Management Department in delivering world class experiences for all match day and non-match day events. This hourly part-time role is hands on and essential to ensuring our events run smoothly from setup to teardown. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists with event set up and teardown including signage, tents, tables, chairs, and other event items. 
  • Installation and removal of event materials across various stadium and event locations. 
  • Fulfill requests from vendors, venue staff, and club personnel for the movement and placement of materials and equipment. 
  • Maintain all match day equipment and supplies in proper working order and ensure proper communication to management when replacements are needed. 
  • Organize, store, retrieve, and rearrange various items in storage areas for all departments. 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Ideal for current college students with flexible schedules; availability before, during, and after events is encouraged. 
  • Eagerness to learn event equipment and processes. 
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive and professional setting. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift with limited assistance for a minimum of 8 hours. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  • Must be available to work home matches and select non-match events.
