JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Photography
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Coordinator of Photography is a member of the Marketing Department and reports to the Senior Manager of Photo and Video Production. This role contributes to a variety of business initiatives by photographing Chicago Stars home and away games, Corporate Partnerships events, community involvement, and other CSFC programming. Post-production responsibilities include culling, adding metadata, and treating digital assets.

• Capture impactful, brand aligned, images across multiple properties including but not limited to:
o Chicago Stars FC home and away matches, in-season and off-season practices, team media day, community functions, corporate initiatives, and internal/external events
• Assist in maintaining and overseeing digital photo archiving system. Work to ensure the photo archiving system is the primary resource for all marketing and sponsorship photo assets.
• Assist with the organization of all internal and external photography
• Plan and execute shoots—from concepting and gear prep to lighting and location scouting
• Must be available for 90% of home matches and 50% of away matches
• Support proper documentation and retention of all job postings, job descriptions, interview notes, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• 2-3 years of photography experience, ideally within sports, music, editorial, or lifestyle brands
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of sports action, portrait, behind-the-scenes, and editorial work
• Proven experience managing and organizing large volumes of visual assets within an asset management system
• Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop preferred
• Experience in studio lighting and portraiture preferred
• Understanding of creative process and willingness to collaborate with marketing team members
• Develop a strong rapport with players, staff, and creatives to enable authentic storytelling
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
• Uphold CSFC brand standards and photography guidelines across all deliverables
• Demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS• Capacity to lift 35lbs overhead.
• Work in inclement weather and varying temperatures
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
LOCATION/SCHEDULE• Work hours are generally 9:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Must have
ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable Transportation to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL, Central office located in Downtown Chicago, and Northwestern University in Evanston, IL
