The Team Administrator manages the team's day-to-day operations. This person will be critical in establishing club culture, communications, and overall operations and experience for professional athletes and staff.

The Team Administrator is (1) responsible for the day-to-day operations of the training schedule and team travel logistics and (2) the hub of the technical operations of the Angel City Football Club (ACFC). 

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a resource for the entire Soccer House Staff and all players
  • Liaise with the NWSL league office as needed
  • Directly manage, coordinate, and safeguard all player & coaching staff travel and meal logistics in accordance with NWSL league guidelines and commercial partner mandates
    • Plan and organize team travel logistics & itineraries
    • Assist with booking team flights and management of name changes & booking hotels, meeting rooms, etc.
    • Calculate and distribute per diem
    • Execute all meal plans in concert with the Sports Dietician 
  • Primary contact for all aspects of players’ + coaching staff for flight/travel changes, facilities questions, and anything else that may impact their work environment
  • Develop and enforce First Team timeline at home games, making sure players, coaches, and staff complete game activities in a timely manner
  • Support coordination and oversight of the administration of trialists or replacement players with the League 
  • Support Management on player relations, administrative correspondence, and cooperation with the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)  
  • Support player housing administration and organization for incoming, current, and outgoing players 
  • Manage match day/match preparation needs in accordance with NWSL league guidelines
  • Manage First Team logistics on home game days, including:
    • Coordinating with the contractor to organize Referee logistics
    • Credentials + tickets (home + away)
    • Starting XI form (+ communicate out to Marketing/Press team)
    • Post-game meal
    • Coordinate with + support visiting Team Admin requests
    • Post-match clean-up
  • Provide a consistent range of support to players, players’ families, coaches, and coaches’ families during their tenure as part of the ACFC organization
  • Provide administrative, analytical, and project-based support for ACFC leadership, ownership, First Team, Technical Staff, and others in accordance with NWSL league guidelines
  • Ensure ACFC compliance with all NWSL league guidelines
  • Attend NWSL Team Admin call
  • Manage TeamWorks: post schedule, send announcements, add/remove users, etc.
  • Accompany the team to away games  
  • Lead projects as assigned by the Sr. Director of Soccer Operations or other Management staff within the ACFC organization

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in club operations 
  • Strong background in sports operations (soccer experience preferred)
  • Background in group travel, including but not limited to air and ground travel, as well as hotel booking
  • Professional and positive presence to represent ACFC both internally and externally
  • Deep understanding of how to service athletes and technical staff members
  • Work well within a collaborative, team-driven, and goal-based environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and team leadership
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise tasks, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • High EQ and the ability to relate to all levels of staff, management, players, and ownership
  • Bilingual
  • Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and occasional holidays 
  • Availability to travel to all away games

Compensation
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $66,000 to $70,000.
