The New York Red Bulls are one of 28 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

Purpose of this Job

We are looking for a Manager of Marketing to help oversee the club's marketing and advertising needs. To develop marketing campaign strategies and tactics from ideation to execution through various media outlets including traditional OOH media, digital marketing, lead generation and field marketing.

To be an ambassador our brand identity for our brand position of Red Runs Deep and establish its presence in our marketplace.

You should have in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, campaign strategies, storytelling and reporting. Be able to support club marketing needs by building brand awareness and drive different ticket products to hit revenue goals. Work well with interdepartmental groups such as creative team, ticket sales, legal, finance and sponsorship to drive campaign results and collaboration.

Areas that play to your strengths

Develop continuity of the New York Red Bulls brand and story through campaigns to drive quantifiable results.
Comfortable presenting marketing plans and KPI's.
Manage budgets and estimates.
Drive revenue for club through sales campaigns on organic channels, email marketing, paid social media, digital marketing, and field marketing initiatives.
Develop Marketing Strategies for new products, events, and club initiatives.
Brainstorm ideas with internal team for new campaign ideas and how it can tie into content and delivery for Work with Director of Marketing to execute match theme nights and support in their development.
Collect and analyze marketing research data to improve and learn from marketing and advertising strategies.
Be point person for the club with our Digital Media Agency to place online advertisements and lead generation campaigns.
Willingness to try innovative marketing strategies.
Manage event marketing staff of 60+ employees.

Your areas of expertise that matter most for this role:

At least 4+ years work experience in marketing, advertising or brand management required.
Experience in brand marketing, sports or entertainment industry.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be asked to work varying schedules to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
