Purpose of this Internship
New York Red Bulls Academy are looking for an intern to join our high-performance team for the season. This position will help facilitate the development of athletes across the Red Bulls pathway with a primary focus on supporting our academy teams at Under 13-16
Note: applicants must have consistent afternoon and/or evening availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Weekend availability is a plus.

Job Description
- Assist the Academy Performance staff with development and delivery of pitch and gym based physical development sessions, in line with the club physical framework
- Assisting with athlete assessment, monitoring and profiling processes across training cycles.
- Working closely with the interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver Warm Up activities in line with the Academy curriculum
- Educating athletes on performance lifestyle and standards, relative to their stage in the pathway
- Developing data-reporting skills, you’ll assist in the development of training and testing feedback reports
- Contributing to departmental discussion and professional development
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and understanding of soccer
- Current undergraduate student studying sports exercise and science, strength and conditioning, CSCS accreditation, or a related field
- Demonstrates effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Lives within 60-miles of Whippany, New Jersey
- Possess a driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
