From hosting the CONCACAF Gold Cup to FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the FIFA Club World Cup, Music City has quickly become a destination for some of the sport’s most prominent events. Locally, Nashville SC is in its sixth season and continues to thrive both on and off the field, highlighted by the opening of GEODIS Park in May 2022—the largest soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer.
Position Overview:
The Account Executive, Ticket Sales is responsible for generating new revenue through the sale of season tickets, premium seating, and group ticket packages for Nashville SC. This role will have a primary focus on full season memberships and premium inventory, while also contributing to group sales and select non-soccer events at GEODIS Park (concerts, international matches, and more). The Account Executive will report directly to the Manager of Ticket Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business by selling season tickets, premium seating, and group ticket packages.
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
- Execute outbound sales strategies including cold calls, prospecting, networking, and referral generation.
- Conduct a pre-determined number of weekly face-to-face meetings and outbound calls to develop new opportunities.
- Deliver a best-in-class customer experience for all clients, from first touch to post-sale service.
- Develop and implement creative sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, high-energy sales team culture.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or a related industry, 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field preferred; or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- High energy, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a passion for driving results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Salesforce and Archtics preferred.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Soccer knowledge a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
