Position Summary
The Production Associate plays a key role in supporting all audio-visual and production elements during Huntsville City FC home matches. This position offers exposure to a variety of live event production roles, and individuals may train in multiple assignments to ensure coverage and flexibility on matchday.
Assignments may include, but are not limited to:
• Director — Selects camera shots, manages live feeds, oversees instant replay.
• Camera Operator — Operates game cameras and captures primary event footage.
• Audio Engineer — Controls sound boards, audio levels, and microphones for in-stadium sound.
• Public Address Announcer — Executes partnership reads, in-match announcements, and general fan communication.
• Field Relay (Red Hat) — Serves as sideline liaison, relaying real-time information to the booth.
• Clock Operator — Operates scoreboard systems, count-down clocks, and timing functions for pre-match, halftime, and end-of-match.
• Video Board Operator — Executes video content for the board in collaboration with Production leadership.
• Float — Assists with setup and teardown of AV equipment, including halftime performer support.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience in production, broadcasting, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with soccer or live sports environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and receive direction.
• Must complete assigned pre-season training sessions within designated timeline.
• Positive problem-solving approach and ability to stay calm in a live event setting.
