Who We Are:

Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. As a club driven by passion and community, we operate under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home—one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.




Position:

The Video Production Associate is part of the Marketing & Communications department for Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

 

Position Summary:

The Video Production Associate is a hands-on creative role supporting our Production team with shooting, editing, and organizing video content that brings our club’s stories to life. This part-time position is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills inside a professional sports environment while contributing directly to the content that engages our community and fanbase.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the setup, lighting, and filming of interviews, practices, matches, and team features
  • Ingest, label, and organize game footage and other video assets so the team can move quickly
  • Contribute during First Team home games by filming action, running cards, ingesting footage, and cutting clips
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for MNUFC2 and Academy content: identify storylines, coordinate shoots, and produce edits
  • Capture footage at community events and create recap videos that highlight our impact
  • Pick up, transport, and return production equipment between locations
  • Jump in on additional projects as needed — we’re a team-first environment

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder).
  • Hands-on experience with video production — whether through coursework, personal projects, or previous roles.
  • A team-first attitude: positive, professional, resourceful, self-motivated, and ready to pitch in wherever needed.
  • A basic understanding of soccer or MLS (a plus, not required).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during the season.
  • Comfort lifting and carrying equipment up to 20 lbs.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Our compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (non-exempt).
