Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home—one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.



 

Position: 

The Corporate Partnerships Associate is part of the Corporate Partnerships department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

 

Position Summary:

The Corporate Partnerships Associate will focus on assisting the corporate sponsorship sales and service team with partnership acquisition, implementation, and review by creating presentations, coordinating special events, conducting market analysis and research, and supporting game day partnership execution. In addition, this position will play a role in coordinating, executing, and assisting with any non-game day hospitality events that are hosted for corporate partners.

 

This is a part-time seasonal position based in Golden Valley, MN reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create professional and creative partnership proposals.
  • Lead game day set-up, activation, and teardown.
  • Assist managing game day promotions staff.
  • Manage occasional outside event and hospitality event setup, activation, and teardown.
  • Record and organize mentions of partners in social media and news.
  • Capture and organize game day photographs of sponsor activations.
  • Develop comprehensive mid- and end-of-season recaps for all partners, utilizing advanced analytical expertise and presentation platforms to provide detailed and nuanced partnership insights.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential partnership activation opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

 

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Pursuing a degree or recent graduate with a degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing, partnership marketing/activations a plus.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be organized, detail orientated, and accountable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours (20-25 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays, along with a majority of home games/stadium events at Allianz Field.

 

Compensation:

Our compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (non-exempt).
