The Match Presentation Associate is a key contributor to the Match Presentation team while ensuring all work aligns with the Sporting Kansas City brand purpose: “We create memories through personalized experiences with our Club.”
This part-time, season-long position gives individuals hands-on experience within Sporting Kansas City’s Match Presentation and Marketing operations. The Associate will support a variety of tasks assigned by the Team Lead and will work closely with the Marketing Team in an environment full of learning opportunities designed to help associates evolve their capabilities, challenge their strengths, and reach their fullest potential. This role will run throughout the MLS season, beginning in late January and concluding in October/November.

Essential Functions:
- Assist the Marketing Team with matchday activities, including overseeing and executing Mazuma Plaza activations, managing entertainment such as the DJ and in-stadium host, coordinating with the National Anthem singer and Honor Guard, and supporting in-stadium promotions.
- Attend and participate in event planning meetings as needed.
- Assist in loading in and creating assets for matches.
- Assist and produce all live events hosted at Children's Mercy Park.
- Organize and communicate with match presentation participants such as the National Anthem singer and Military Honoree.
- Attend all Sporting Kansas City home games, as well as occasional non-soccer-related events.
- Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Match Day Responsibilities:
Part-time associates act as representatives of Sporting Kansas City at all home matches, engaging with guests and working to create memorable moments for fans.

Skills and Experience:
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Calendar).
- Experience in game presentation or stage managing preferred.
- Control room experience, Xpression, and Shoflo knowledge is a plus.
- Editing experience with Premiere Pro is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a drive for perfection.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to consistently talk and hear.
