The Assistant Team Administrator supports the team operations for Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. Additionally, the Assistant Team Administrator will aid the team staff and players in all their day-to-day operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Help manage day-to-day operations for the first team at Sporting Kansas City.
  • Perform various operational tasks to prepare the team for competition.
  • Plan & execute various team trips and events.
  • Coordinate & communicate team schedules with staff and players.
  • Help support & administer the team operating budget.
  • Register players for various competitions.
  • Support team personnel in their onboarding and relocation process, which includes but is not limited to, visas, housing, transportation, culture acclimation and more.
  • Coordinate scheduling and other needs with the management of Sporting Kansas City’s training facility, Compass Minerals National Performance Center.
  • Assist the Team Leadership with daily support.
  • Communicate & coordinate with various internal parties as needed.
  • Communicate & coordinate with external parties including but not limited to competition governing bodies, vendors, travel contacts, and more.
  • Maintain & develop various relationships inside and outside of the organization.
  • Maintain & develop a competitive & successful team culture & environment.
  • Support Sporting Kansas City’s mission, vision and purpose.
  • Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other related tasks or projects as assigned.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Three (3) years or more of related experience in team operations and soccer required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relative field required.
  • Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language.
  • Spanish language fluency preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Calendar preferred.
  • Knowledge of MLS, CONCACAF, U.S. Soccer & FIFA regulations preferred
  • Capacity to adapt to the unique and vibrant Kansas City market.

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
