The San Jose Earthquakes have a mission to establish our home as the epicenter of American soccer by uniting Northern California with big dreams, big hustle, and big impact. We are seeking a new Assistant, Front Office who is passionate about providing outstanding service, enjoys interacting with people, and wants to be part of an energetic team committed to making a difference in the sports community.
About the Position:
The Assistant, Front Office serves as one of the first points of contact for the San Jose Earthquakes and helps create a welcoming, professional, and organized office environment for fans, guests, clients, and employees. This role supports daily front desk operations, reception coverage, and general office support while helping ensure a positive experience for all visitors and staff.
This is a part-time, fully in-person position with scheduled weekday office coverage hours. Flexibility to support occasional events, match days, or adjusted schedules may be required. Because this role is part of a shared front office support team, strong communication, reliability, and consistency are essential.
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This person should be proactive, adaptable, customer-service oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. This role reports to the Vice President, Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
· Greet and assist fans, business partners, vendors, clients, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
· Answer inbound phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate contacts within the organization
· Relay messages clearly and accurately to staff members
· Maintain a strong working knowledge of the organization to answer general Earthquakes-related questions
· Support daily reception and front office coverage responsibilities
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby and reception area
· Manage shipping and receiving processes
· Coordinate package delivery and pick-up for Bay FC
· Address guest or visitor concerns and assist in finding solutions when appropriate
· Work directly with Ticket Operations, Sales, and Account Service teams to assist clients and process ticket orders through Tixr, including troubleshooting basic ticketing and account issues
· Assist with monitoring office and breakroom supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is needed
· Serve as a point of contact for general office and breakroom equipment issues, including printers, postage, coffee machines, and related equipment
· Support day-to-day office operations and provide general administrative assistance as needed
· Maintain clear communication and notes between shifts to ensure seamless front office coverage and visitor support
· Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Exceptional communication and organizational skills
· Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new programs and processes
· Creative problem-solving skills and proactive thinking

· Positive attitude, calm demeanor, and commitment to providing assistance
· Reliable attendance and punctuality
· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Salary: $23/hour
