WHO WE ARE 
Awarded Major League Soccer’s 16th franchise in 2008, the Philadelphia Union officially took the pitch in 2010 and have been raising expectations ever since. Owned and operated by Union Sports & Entertainment, the Philadelphia Union call Subaru Park home—an 18,500-seat, world-class, soccer-specific stadium set along the Delaware River beneath the Commodore Barry Bridge, just 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia.

The team reached the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final three times (2014, 2015, and 2018), made multiple MLS Cup Playoff appearances, and captured the Supporters’ Shield in 2020 and again in 2025, recognizing the club’s excellence and consistency across the regular season. The Union also hosted the Eastern Conference Final in 2021, were crowned Eastern Conference Champions in 2022, and advanced to the MLS Cup Final that same year in one of the most thrilling matches in league history. The club has continued to represent Philadelphia on the international stage through participation in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a creative, organized, and technically skilled Coordinator, Video Production to join our video production team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to make an immediate impact, and is passionate about creating compelling content across digital, broadcast, and in-stadium platforms. This position plays a key role in producing content that aligns with the Philadelphia Union’s brand standards and storytelling goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Production
  • Assist in directing and executing on-location and studio video shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals and audio.
  • Operate cameras, audio, and other production equipment as needed.
  • Travel during the season to capture content at matches, events, and community activations.
Post-Production
  • Support editing workflows from rough cuts through final delivery.
  • Assist with revisions, color, sound, and finishing touches to ensure high production value.
  • Contribute to graphics, animation, and visual effects in alignment with brand standards.
Content Development
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop content that meets their goals and objectives.
  • Produce a variety of content including social media videos, promotional assets, and event coverage.
  • Contribute ideas and creative concepts that support the club’s overall content strategy.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Director of Video Production and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and documentation.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, inclusive, and team-first culture.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in video production (internships and freelance work considered).
  • Interest in or familiarity with professional or collegiate sports.
  • Experience with social media platforms and video optimization best practices.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, equipment, and formats.
  • Solid storytelling, editing, and visual composition skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
