ABOUT THE ROLE
The Philadelphia Union Academy is looking for a motivated, organized, and team-oriented Equipment Coordinator to join our operations staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch or grow a career in sports operations, equipment management, or professional athletics.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Philadelphia Union Academy is looking for a motivated, organized, and team-oriented Equipment Coordinator to join our operations staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch or grow a career in sports operations, equipment management, or professional athletics.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Academy and Union II staff to support training sessions, matchdays, travel, and player operations. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Assist with the daily operations of the Academy equipment room.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute training gear, match kits, travel apparel, and player equipment.
- Support matchday operations for Academy and Union II home and away matches,
- Set up and maintain locker rooms before and after trainings and games.
- Assist with packing and logistics for domestic and international travel.
- Ensure all team equipment and uniforms meet MLS NEXT standards.
- Utilize heat press equipment to customize training and match apparel.
- Oversee locker room operations for home and away games; including but not limited to dressing locker rooms in player kits prior to games and training, and ensuring cleanliness post training or matches.
- Collaborate with coaches, operations staff, and players in a fast-moving team environment.
- Assist with travel logistics as it pertains to moving equipment to and from the airport, hotels and stadiums.
- Travel with teams as needed to support operations and equipment management.
- Assist Head of Union II & Academy Equipment Operations in necessary and timely preparation for all games and practices.
