The Account Executive, New Business is part of the Ticket Sales & Services department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

Position Summary:
We’re looking for driven, coachable individuals who are passionate about growing the world’s game. As an Account Executive New Business, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional fan experience at Allianz Field through the sale of full season tickets, partial plans, group outings, and premium seating. This role is designed for those eager to continue their career in the sports industry, offering hands-on experience through outbound outreach, prospecting, and in-person appointments. In addition, ongoing training and mentorship from dedicated Ticket Sales & Service leadership team. What You’ll Do:
  • Be a key contributor to generating excitement and revenue by selling full season tickets, partial plans, group outings, and premium seating at one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, web research, and leveraging personal and professional networks.
  • Support the club’s fan engagement initiatives by assisting with the management of the Loon Watch Spots Pub Program, deal site promotions, and prospect-focused events
  • Collaborate with teammates to reach individual and team sales goals while contributing to a positive and high-performing culture
  • Engage with fans on matchdays at Allianz Field and at community events to build lasting relationships
  • Proactively build rapport with potential Season Ticket Members and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process
  • Accurately record all communications and interactions in the CRM system
  • Help create memorable experiences for new and existing fans of MNUFC

What You’ll Bring:
  • Have 1+ years of sales or service experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • A confident, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic and a drive to continue growing in the sports business industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with fans and clients
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating memorable moments for supporters
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to a high-performing team environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track customer interactions
  • A professional demeanor, positive attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (evenings and weekends)
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus

Compensation and Benefits: 
Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $18.50 per hour (non-exempt), plus incentive compensation. We provide a competitive benefits package that includes health coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and additional perks to support you both personally and professionally.
