The Account Executive, Group Sales is part of the Ticket Sales & Services department for Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

Position Summary:
Minnesota United are seeking highly motivated, coachable individuals who are passionate about growing the world’s game and delivering exceptional fan experiences. The Account Executive, Group Sales will drive the sale of group tickets, full season ticket memberships, partial season ticket plans, and premium seating through building relationships. This position has an outbound touchpoint focus with emphasis on driving revenue through referrals, prospecting, and networking while also maintaining relationships to renew group clientele annually and growing their book of business. As a Ticket Sales & Service leadership team, we are committed to the process of developing our sales executives on both a personal and professional level.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build relationships by prospecting and networking to drive the sale of group tickets, full season ticket memberships, partial season ticket plans, mini plans, and premium seating at one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country
  • Be at the forefront of generating excitement and revenue by maintaining and growing group ticket accounts, planning group sales promotions and initiatives, executing fan and hospitality experiences
  • Achieve touchpoint goals by creating connections through outbound phone calls, emails, sales meetings, and networking events to maximize ticket sales opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records of clients and prospects in the CRM system 
  • Be a team player that helps us reach team goals by individually reaching your own goal, while also supporting and collaborating with your teammates

What You’ll Bring:
  • 1+ years of sales or service experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Familiar with group sales processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and assess needs with fans and guests
  • Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional experiences
  • Collaboration as a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Motivation to improve daily and desire to exceed goals
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (evenings and weekends)
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus

MNUFC is a professional soccer club playing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America, and which operates under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. The Club is headquartered in Golden Valley, MN. Soccer operations are located at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine, MN, and the team plays its home matches at Allianz Field in St. Paul, MN.
 
Compensation & Benefits:
Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $18.50 per hour (non-exempt), plus incentive compensation. We provide a competitive benefits package that includes health coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and additional perks to support you both personally and professionally.
