The Frisco Bowl, based in Frisco, Texas, began in 2017 with the mission of generating tourism for the North Texas area through an annual football game and supporting events. The Frisco Bowl is now accepting applications from candidates for its 2019 Partnership Fulfillment Internship. The Frisco Bowl and Toyota Stadium have created a unique hands on experience for students looking to gain experience in the Sports, Marketing and Entertainment industry. We are looking for bright, passionate, hard-working students to be a part of our team through our internship program. Individuals will not be considered for a Frisco Bowl Internship position until an online employment application is completed.
 
All internships for the Frisco Bowl and the Toyota Stadium & Soccer Center are unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports industry. All candidates’ hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends and holidays may be required. Candidate needs to be able to work through the Frisco Bowl Game on December 21.
 
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Frisco Bowl is looking for a Partnership Fulfillment Intern to assist the team with the fulfillment of sponsorship contracts for the Frisco Bowl. The intern will report to the Executive Director and assist with day to day objectives of the bowl game.
 
JOB DUTIES:
  • Ability to execute sponsorship task by working closely and attending with partnership staff various activities and business-related forums
  • Learn about departmental processes needed to ensure that sponsor deliverables are being accurately represented.
  • Acquire knowledge through the coordination and development of sponsorship activities and events including game program ads, in –game video spots, signage, décor, gifts, and donated products.
  • Participation in the coordination of the Frisco Bowl’s sponsorship promotions 
  • Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations for Bowl partners 
  • Assist in coordination of all partnership elements into activation 
  • Assist in Development of all signage creation around game 
  • Implement ticketing and hospitality needs for partnership 
  • Develop all videoboard and announcements for in game production 
  • Implement advertising on Frisco Bowl Website 
  • Implement and plan Frisco Bowl game program 
  • Assist as key contact with Frisco Bowl sponsors for asset implementation 
  • Assist in planning and implementation for the Fan Fest area in the Bowl game 
  • Update contracts, sales and sponsor inventory grids
  • Update potential sponsors list with relevant information
  • Consistently upload all pictures and marketing content/collateral to Shared Drive 
 
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Pursuing a degree and/or career in Digital Media, Marketing or Public Relations
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a must 
  • Strong computer skills including Adobe Photoshop, social media, other networking sites, writing, editing and typing skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Dynamic and confident personality 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule
  • Must be an active college student 
  • Must receive college credit for internship with our company
 
Note:  Preferred commitment of 40 hours a week consistent with academic demands/schedule.
