Job Title: Digital Content Producer  
Department: Brand Marketing & Communications
Reports to: Sr. Content Producer 
Purpose and Scope:
The Digital Content Producer will be responsible for management and execution of the club’s digital and social plans, including production of content to be distributed to all digital properties, such as the official club website, app, and all social channels. The Digital Content Producer will be directly responsible for producing content that furthers the FCC brand and its perspective into the sports landscape to grow and engage an audience through digital platforms.
 Position Overview:
The Digital Content Producer will be a key member of the FC Cincinnati Content team and will assist with the day-to-day development of content and management of the team’s social and digital properties. This role will help with content creation and distribution across social media channels.
The Digital Content Producer will work collaboratively with multiple departments to create, edit, publish, and share engaging content on a daily basis with a focus on long-form content, images, graphics and videos. 

  • Assist the Senior Content Producer in creating, editing, publishing and sharing content
  • Assist with management of all event day content
  • Collect and assist with the management of the content calendar
  • Grow the fanbase while increasing engagement
  • Collect and contribute content as needed for the club’s digital platforms, including, email, and social channels
  • Collaborate with other departments and create digital content that fulfills club goals and relationships, specifically relating to sponsorships, partnership marketing, retail, community relations and marketing fulfillment
  • Help manage digital archives and maintain public-facing elements and club photo files
  • Communicate with followers, respond to questions and comments in a timely fashion
  • Represent the club at league and federation events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Digital Content
 Skill Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to excel in the position:
  • Proven work experience with digital content creation and community management
  • Understanding, knowledge and passion for soccer and MLS
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, graphics, photo and video)
  • Knowledge of digital and social marketing channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks across multiple teams
  • Must be a team player
  • Represent the club in ethical and professional manners at all times
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects
  • Experience with Hootsuite a plus
 Experience/Education Requirements:
  • BS/BA in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field is required
  • 1-2 years of full-time experience with a professional team, league or collegiate athletics department, preferred. In lieu of full-time experience, a series of internships that demonstrate increasing responsibility are acceptable.
  • Must have a valid Passport and ability to travel internationally
 Match Day Responsibilities
The Digital Content Producer will have professional obligations for every FC Cincinnati game during the season, including preseason, regular-season, postseason and in-season tournaments. Additionally, any special events hosted by the club – including international friendlies and/or charitable or large-scale community activities – are included.

Work Hours:
In addition to normal business hours, weekend, evening and holiday work will be required as schedule and project workload dictates. Some travel, including international, may be required.
