THE OPPORTUNITY
POSITION SUMMARY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and executing daily training sessions.
- Help design and deliver training exercises aligned with the club’s game model and development objectives.
- Provide coaching feedback and instruction to players during training sessions and match environments.
- Help create and maintain a consistent, competitive, and high-performance daily training environment.
- Collaborate with technical, performance, and medical staff to ensure integrated player development.
- Reinforce the coaching philosophy and performance standards established by the Club & Head Coach.
- Support the development of players through individualized coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Individual Development Plans.
- Identify opportunities for player improvement across technical, tactical, physical, mental, and professional areas.
- Build strong relationships with players while maintaining appropriate standards of accountability and professionalism.
- Support player pathways and progression opportunities within the club ecosystem.
- Assist with video analysis of team performance, opponents, and individual player development.
- Collaborate with analysts and technical staff to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data and video resources to support coaching decisions and player development.
- Support technical leadership and coaching staff in player evaluation and talent identification.
- Provide feedback on potential recruitment targets and roster opportunities.
- Assist with scouting assignments and player evaluations as directed.
- Build relationships within the soccer community to support the club’s talent pipeline.
- Model Carolina Core FC’s values through daily actions, leadership, and professionalism.
- Help create a team environment built on trust, accountability, competitiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships across the organization, including players, staff, academy partners, and community stakeholders.
- Represent Carolina Core FC professionally across league, community, and partner engagements.
- Maintain compliance with all league, federation, and club policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional coaching experience preferred; experience within a professional, academy, collegiate, or elite competitive environment required.
- USSF A License preferred; candidates actively pursuing advanced coaching licenses will be considered.
- Experience supporting high-performance teams and developing players.
- Strong understanding of tactical concepts, training methodology, and player development.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary sporting environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to preparation.
- Passion for developing players, coaches, and the overall soccer ecosystem.
