Position Summary
The Ticket Sales & Service Representative is primarily responsible for driving revenue and achieving sales goals across new ticket sales, including season tickets, ticket packages, group tickets, and single-match tickets, while also supporting service and retention of existing accounts. This role works under the direction of the Director of Ticketing and plays a key role in building the club’s fan base by delivering exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact through long-term account stewardship.
The Ticket Sales & Service Representative is primarily responsible for driving revenue and achieving sales goals across new ticket sales, including season tickets, ticket packages, group tickets, and single-match tickets, while also supporting service and retention of existing accounts. This role works under the direction of the Director of Ticketing and plays a key role in building the club’s fan base by delivering exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact through long-term account stewardship.
Primary Responsibilities
• Offer a full menu of seating opportunities across all ticket packages, including season tickets, packages, single-match tickets, and group tickets.
• Coordinate and execute sales calls on all potential customers through provided leads, prospecting, cold calling, and referrals from current customers.
• Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods and follow up on leads provided by club partner organizations.
• Effectively use the club’s CRM to maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions.
• Effectively use the club’s ticketing platform to describe and select available seat locations for patrons and transact the point of sale in the system.
• Set and conduct in-stadium and out-of-office sales appointments.
• Assist with managing and stewarding existing season ticket members to enhance customer service and retention.
• Serve as a main point of contact for general ticket inquiries received through inbound phone calls, email, and social media.
• Handle a high volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails to support pipeline development.
• Participate and contribute to weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
• Work in conjunction with club staff and MLS NEXT Pro league staff to promote and generate sales on all events while providing a great fan experience.
• Assist with any administrative ticket functions.
• Meet and exceed established activity standards (calls made, appointments set) and individual and team sales revenue goals.
• Work in unison with the marketing, partnerships, and community teams to implement department goals.
• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of MLS, MLS NEXT Pro, and sports trends, statistics, strategies, and activities.
• Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of game day activities as needed.
• Provide the highest standards of customer service to every client and potential client.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticketing[SG1] .

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and master software programs, including CRM and ticketing platforms.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and match days.
• Must be willing to travel when necessary.
• Must pass pre-employment screens.

• Experience playing or knowledge of the professional soccer landscape.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
