Inter Miami CF seeks a facilities and operations professional who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all of the systems in the Stadium and Performance Facility, including, but not limited to, air handling, plumbing, electrical, technical and refrigeration. This position also oversees all locks and elevator maintenance and repairs.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversees permit compliance, application, renewals for items related to venue maintenance and includes, but is not limited to, elevators, backflow preventers, fire suppression and sprinkler systems, sewer lifts and grease traps, chilled water lines, transformers and emergency power generation.
  • Maintain and repair all air handling systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems.
  • Responsible for setting up technical systems for events held at the stadium.
  • Maintain and repair technical systems and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of lighting systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures.
  • Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to specifications and electrical codes.
  • Cut keys, pin locks and repair and adjust door hardware as needed.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with chiller plants, air handling systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems.
  • Must have fundamental knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, carpentry, MEP, paint, general construction knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of major facilities and maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions as they pertain to engineering operation of a large facility.
  • Extensive knowledge of major air conditioning operations and maintenance.
  • Experience with locksmithing, cutting keys, pinning locks, repairing and adjusting door hardware.
  • Ability to consult with contractors and others on maintenance, repair and construction projects.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency a plus.
  • Experience functioning in a 24/7 operating environment and ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required.    

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Licensed electrician.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator).
  • HVAC.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.
