The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This part-time role is ideal for someone eager to take their first step into the sports or events industry. As a Guest Experience Assistant, you will work closely with the Guest Experience Manager to support ideas and initiatives that elevate the overall fan experience, while serving as a friendly and welcoming presence on matchdays. We are seeking an ambitious, approachable, and proactive individual who is passionate about creating memorable experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring every matchday at Shell Energy Stadium is engaging, enjoyable, and unforgettable for our guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Share creative, guest-focused ideas and feedback to support the Guest Experience Manager in improving the fan experience
- Assist with matchday fan engagement activities and initiatives
- Conduct fun, informative, and engaging stadium tours for individuals and groups
- Support the Guest Experience team with matchday staff recognition and rewards initiatives
- Be a visible, friendly presence throughout the stadium
- Answer questions about the stadium, seating, parking, and services
- Assist guests with accessibility needs and promote an inclusive environment
- Handle minor guest concerns and know when to escalate to a supervisor
- Assist with any other administrative duties, as required
- Represent Houston Dynamo FC with professionalism and pride at all times
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma; Some College
- Assisting with assigned tasks under direct supervision
- 0-1 years of experience
- Reliable and flexible availability, especially evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish – preferred.
