The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men's and women's professional teams - Houston Dynamo FC (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo & Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.
The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018, 2023) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Houston Dynamo FC and the Houston Dash are seeking Part-Time Street Team Brand Ambassadors to help grow and amplify both brands across the city of Houston, with a primary focus on our Houston Dynamo Soccer Celebration events throughout Summer 2026.
This role will play a key part in engaging fans during one of the most significant moments in global soccer, as Houston serves as a host city for the world’s biggest tournament.
Street Team members will work closely with the Marketing and Event Presentation Departments, in addition to other departments, in order to execute various fan experiences and bring the Houston Dynamo Soccer Celebration to life.
We are seeking someone who is committed to growing the game of soccer from the grassroots level and bringing fan experiences to life for our fans. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enthusiastically interact and communicate with fans at Houston Dynamo Soccer Celebration events, in addition to community and sponsor events.
- Assist in set-up and breakdown of interactive event activations.
- Provide superb customer service on matchdays and at community events.
- Display excitement about the organization and knowledge about upcoming initiatives.
- Help with the execution, activation, and breakdown of all events at Shell Energy Stadium.
- Assist as matchday crew in all game day production and on field entertainment.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience working in fan facing and/or promotional events.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours as well as evenings, weekends, and some holidays during Summer 2026.
- Ability to work independently to complete duties and projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and communicate effectively in high pressure situations.
- Ability to work well with different personalities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to attend all training sessions and staff meetings.
- Have a working knowledge of US and international soccer – Preferred, not required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) - Preferred, not required
- Must have good driving record and valid Texas driver's license and a reliable source of transportation.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
