Job Title: Digital Marketing Intern

Overview:
The Houston Dynamo Football Club is seeking candidates with an interest in digital marketing, sports marketing, and/or communications to join the team as a Digital Marketing intern. The candidates will assist with various digital elements, including email communication, assisting with the creation of user experiences, copywriting, and maintaining user interfaces.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Digital Director and digital team with planning and executing campaigns as assigned.
- Assist the Digital Marketing team with weekly fan communication via email, web, app, and other platforms with a strong emphasis on copywriting.
- Assist with game day content capture as needed for digital platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Currently or recently enrolled at college or university and majoring in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, sports management or relevant concentration.
- Understanding of and ability to demonstrate professional acumen across the responsibilities of the position, including writing skills and engagement with Club staff and other stakeholders.
- High school diploma/degree.
- Ability to work evenings/nights, weekends and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
- Interested in acquiring further marketing and communications experience across the marketing functions.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate (written and verbal).
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with email and/or web development platforms is a plus (examples include Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace).
- Experience with Photoshop is a plus.

Compensation:
• $10/hour
