The Club’s brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Houston Dynamo FC is seeking candidates for the position of U15 Academy Head Coach to lead player development and programming for the academy’s aspiring talents. This position will head coach one team within the Academy while actively collaborating with the full academy staff and pathway to support the individual player and collective team development. This important role will include being part of a team of developers who are highly motivated to continually improve player development initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a holistic environment for the players to ensure character development, academic success and football growth are all taking place at all times.
- Expertly plan and execute all U15 training sessions and video review sessions.
- Professionally manage all U15 matches ensuring players clearly display understanding of training concepts and a competitive mentality at all times.
- Focus on individual development of high potential professional prospects through individual planning, goal setting, match planning, training focus and meetings.
- Manage individual player reports and track progress through effective periodization and planning.
- Collaborate with Academy General Manager on high potential player development.
- Communicate with the Academy Admin and Academy Coordinator to ensure a well-organized and professional daily environment, both in Houston and during all travel.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required, USSF B or equivalent required
- 5+ years coaching within an MLS, UEFA or other professional club preferred
- USSF A, UEFA A, or CONMEBOL A coaching license preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred
- Professional playing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with analysis software (Sports Code / HUDL / BePro / Wyscout)
