Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is building a portfolio of locally rooted MLS NEXT Pro clubs, each deeply embedded in its community and built to create lasting connections with fans. As HSH grows its footprint across the country, the organization is investing in the centralized marketing infrastructure needed to turn that community passion into lasting fan relationships and measurable revenue. The Vice President of Marketing will serve as the enterprise marketing leader responsible for building the strategies, systems, and capabilities that power scalable growth across every HSH club market.
Reporting to the President, this leader will develop performance marketing frameworks, lead digital growth and CRM marketing strategy, and establish the operational standards and playbooks that local club marketing teams leverage to execute effectively. The VP of Marketing will serve as both a strategic architect and a hands-on collaborator — working closely with club GMs, marketing managers, and cross-functional partners to ensure marketing efforts are insight-driven, on-brand, and tied to clear business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in performance marketing and fan acquisition, a strong command of digital channels and marketing automation, and a genuine passion for soccer and sports.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the enterprise performance marketing and fan acquisition strategy across all HSH clubs.
- Lead digital growth strategy including paid media, SEO/SEM, social advertising, email, and CRM marketing.
- Build audience segmentation frameworks and data-driven targeting strategies to reach and convert new fans.
- Create scalable campaign playbooks, marketing operational standards, and execution toolkits for local club teams.
- Build attribution modeling, analytics infrastructure, and ROI reporting systems to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Leverage AI-enabled marketing platforms and audience engagement technologies to improve efficiency and personalization.
- Partner with Ticket Sales, Sponsorship, and Content teams to ensure integrated, cross-channel campaigns.
- Establish brand standards and messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across all club markets.

You Have These:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, fan or customer acquisition, and revenue-focused marketing operations.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and customer data infrastructure.
- Proven ability to build attribution models and use data to optimize campaign performance.
- Analytical, technology-forward mindset with a genuine bias for measurable results.
- Experience in sports, entertainment, or consumer marketing environments strongly preferred.
- Comfort with AI-enabled marketing tools and emerging audience engagement technologies.
