Business Development · Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is building a portfolio of locally rooted MLS NEXT Pro clubs, each deeply embedded in its community and built to create lasting connections with fans. As HSH grows its footprint across the country, the organization is investing in the commercial infrastructure needed to connect forward-thinking corporate partners with one of the most passionate and fast-growing fan bases in North American sports. Sponsorship Development Manager will serve as an entrepreneurial revenue driver on the Commercial Partnerships team, responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new corporate partnerships across HSH's expanding portfolio of clubs.

Reporting to the VP, Sponsorship, this leader will support both centralized sponsorship initiatives and club-level commercial partnership efforts, helping local clubs build their sponsorship pipelines while contributing directly to enterprise revenue goals. The Manager will serve as both a proactive sales professional and a collaborative partner, working closely with club leadership, marketing teams, and cross-functional colleagues to build customized partnership solutions that deliver real value for corporate partners and meaningful revenue for HSH.

This is a compelling opportunity for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven sales professional to help build the commercial foundation of a growing multi-club organization from the ground up. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in sponsorship sales or corporate partnerships, a consultative approach to new business development, and a genuine passion for soccer and sports.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, develop, and sell integrated corporate partnerships for HSH and its portfolio of clubs, generating new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic lead generation.
  • Build customized sponsorship proposals and presentations that align with partner marketing objectives and leverage the full inventory of HSH club assets.
  • Assist in negotiating sponsorship agreements and commercial terms, maintaining an active pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Partner with club leadership to identify local sponsorship opportunities and revenue strategies, providing support on prospecting, proposal development, and sales presentations.
  • Help establish sponsorship sales best practices, processes, and reporting standards across all HSH clubs, supporting alignment between centralized and local partnership efforts.
  • Conduct industry and category research to identify emerging partnership opportunities and inform commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Ticketing, Consumer Products, and Data teams to develop integrated commercial offerings and sponsorship inventory.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting to support enterprise visibility and decision-making.
  • Represent HSH at industry conferences, networking events, league meetings, and client events.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
You Have These:
  • 3–6 years of experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, business development, or related revenue generation roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business through consultative selling, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with experience developing customized partnership proposals for corporate clients.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, including Salesforce or comparable systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Self-starter mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset and genuine comfort building in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in professional sports, collegiate athletics, entertainment, or media strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of integrated sponsorship activation and partnership marketing strongly preferred.
