Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is building a portfolio of locally rooted MLS NEXT Pro clubs, each deeply embedded in its community and built to create lasting connections with fans. As HSH grows its footprint across the country, the organization is investing in the centralized infrastructure needed to turn community passion into sustainable business performance. The VP, Strategy & Business Intelligence will serve as the enterprise intelligence leader responsible for building the analytical frameworks, strategic planning processes, and decision-support systems that drive smarter, faster decisions across every level of the organization.

Reporting to the CFO/COO, this leader will own enterprise strategic planning, design and scale business intelligence capabilities, and develop the KPI frameworks and reporting infrastructure that keep HSH's leadership, board, and investors aligned and informed. The VP of Strategy & BI will serve as both a strategic thought partner and an operational architect, working closely with club GMs, central office leaders, and cross-functional partners to translate data into actionable insight and long-term competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise strategic planning processes, including long-range planning, annual goal-setting, and performance tracking across all HSH clubs and the central office.
Build and own the business intelligence strategy, including data infrastructure, reporting systems, and self-service analytics capabilities for club and central office teams.
Develop and manage KPI frameworks that provide leadership with clear, consistent visibility into organizational health and club-level performance.
Own board and investor reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling communication of business performance and strategic progress.
Lead market research and competitive analysis efforts to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and risks across HSH's club markets.
Leverage AI-enabled analytics and decision-support tools to improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic planning quality.
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CFO/COO and senior leadership team on key business decisions and organizational priorities.
Build scalable processes, operational frameworks, and best practices that support local club operations and enterprise growth.

You Have These:

10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, business intelligence, or corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Strong expertise in enterprise strategic planning, KPI development, and performance management frameworks.
Experience building and scaling business intelligence functions, including data infrastructure, dashboards, and analytics platforms.
Proven ability to develop board- and investor-ready reporting packages that clearly communicate business performance and strategic direction.
Comfort with AI-enabled analytics tools and emerging decision-support technologies.
Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-level insights.
Experience in sports, entertainment, or multi-unit consumer businesses strongly preferred.
Financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
