Reporting to the Team Lead Media Partnerships Relations at FIFA Zurich, the Senior Manager, Media Partnerships Relations will have a crucial role in fostering and strengthening relationships with FIFA Broadcast Partners.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Senior Manager, Media Partnerships Relations for the FIFA World Cup 26™ and Mundial de Clubs FIFA 2025™ include:  
  • Act as the relationship manager for Broadcast Partners within Canada, Mexico and the USA. 
  • Guide Broadcast Partners from onboarding through to event delivery and ensure the proper contractual execution of FIFA media rights agreements in the host countries.
  • Assist Broadcast Partners in optimizing their participation in event preparations, include them in the promotional activities to enhance their engagement and handle all their approval request with diligence and discernment.
  • Lead, oversee, and support event related projects. Take responsibility for these projects, involving close collaboration with internal FIFA stakeholders and external entities.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal FIFA26 functional areas, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with the Zurich based Media Partnerships team to create opportunities that enhance the value of FIFA’s commercial programme within the region.
  • Look for and promote learning and development opportunities both within the team and externally. 
  • Lead efforts to foster the team’s collective expertise and professional growth.

Education & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or similar higher education in Business and/or Sports Management or equivalent education

Work Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the Sports industry is an advantage
  • Experience in Broadcast environment is an advantage
  • Experience in major sports events, FIFA World Cup™ or other FIFA events will be an asset.

Languages
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus.

Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
