Sitting within the Ticketing & Hospitality Department, Hospitality (along with Ticketing) aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community.   

Reporting organizationally to the Head of FWC26 Hospitality Operations, the Senior Manager Hospitality Infrastructure will help serve Hospitality efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026 that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues.  This role will be responsible for the supervision of the implementation of all stadium Hospitality infrastructure requirements and technical operations across all stadiums of the FIFA World Cup 2022™. She/he will work closely with the official hospitality provider and FIFA’s stadium infrastructure teams to ensure contractual and requirements compliance.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the Senior Manager Hospitality Infrastructure for the FIFA World Cup 2026 include:     
  • Actively monitor stadium hospitality infrastructure & overlay readiness and maintenance, in accordance with FIFA Hospitality requirements, producing regular status reports for all 16 stadiums and additional off-site venues.   
  • Coordinates and prioritizes hospitality infrastructure issue management resolution, keeping updated stadium issue logs.    
  • Implements and manages technical documentation and drawing exchange procedures to/from the official hospitality provider, FIFA26 infrastructure & technical services teams and the event’s key stakeholders.       
  • Ensures effective communication and collaboration amongst all stakeholders involved in the technical delivery of hospitality operations prior to, during and post-event.      
  • Defines and monitors timelines and standards for Hospitality technical documentation and drawings.      
  • Validates event overlay scoping documentation for hospitality, ensuring full requirement compliance.       
  • Validates all technical requirements from the official hospitality partner, particularly for power, water, HVAC and IT.      
  • Ensures providers’ compliance to infrastructure implementation, monitoring timelines, suppliers and working methods. 
  • Coordinates handover/hand back procedures of Hospitality facilities to the official hospitality provider, producing reports and inventory logs as needed.        
  • Guides and supports, when required, the official hospitality provider to obtain the necessary permits and approvals in relation to stadium hospitality structures. 
  • Ensures appropriate hospitality logistic routes and operations, with special attention to catering logistics. 
  • Manages hospitality technical delivery operations during the tournament, across all stadiums, closely collaborating with the Venue Management and the Infrastructure & Technical Services teams.      
  • Close day to day collaboration and support to the Head of Hospitality Operations.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of SOPs (Stadium Operations Plans) for Hospitality Operations across all venues of the tournament.     
  • Responsible for ensuring the creation and revision of all Operations Policies & Procedures processes and documents.      
  • Coordinates the Hospitality dressing & signage requirements and deliverables with the local dressing & signage team and the Official Hospitality Partner.    
  • Prepares and delivers event-time training for Hospitality Operations venue teams, in conjunction with the Hospitality Integration and Project Management team.      
  • Monitors and supports the local activities of the Official Hospitality Partner, Commercial Affiliates, and their suppliers.       
  • Coordinates handover/hand back procedures of Hospitality facilities from the Stadiums to the Official Hospitality Partner, in close collaboration with the Stadium Infrastructure and Venue Management Teams.   
  • Supports the Hospitality Stakeholder Services team in the management of infrastructure & technical services to service FIFA’s Affiliates in their stadium activations.       
  • Ensures appropriate hospitality logistic routes and operations, with special attention to catering logistics.     
  • Main point of contact for Hospitality Infrastructure at the event-time Main Operations Centre. 
  • Close down of local operations, production of final debriefs & reports and management of hand back procedures and insurance claims. 
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Architecture, Engineering, Event Management, Project Management, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in major event infrastructure and overlay management, managing several venues simultaneously, preferably for major sports or entertainment events.      
  • Proven experience with major event power demand calculations, overlay design and implementation, construction management and technical operations. 
  • Proven experience managing multiple service providers & vendors, particularly for overlay & construction Security Services, temporary Power provision, catering infrastructure and logistic services.      
  • Solid and proven knowledge of stadium catering operations.        
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.        
  • Strong customer-service attitude, even when under pressure.  
  • Ability to work independently and in a team across simultaneous work streams.  
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team
