Reporting organizationally to the HR Administration Specialist, the Workforce HR Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Workforce & Recruitment team and will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. 

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Human Resources Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:       
  • Supporting HR Admin Specialists & Recruiting Managers/Specialists in managing the administrative life-cycle of employees within their assigned divisions

Onboarding employees: 
  • Preparing HR documents like new hire guides, policies and procedures, etc.   
  • Supporting the management of the onboarding process and onboarding system    
  • Handling I9/work authorization process 
  •  Coordinating any relocations, making any necessary travel bookings, arranging travel accommodations and processing expense forms    
  • Assisting with organizing and providing welcome sessions for all new employees as needed 

 Daily administration: 
  • First level support of HR Systems 
  • Organizing and maintaining personnel records 
  • Updating and maintaining the HR database and internal HR systems   
  • Managing and preparing HR documents 
  •  Preparing contract amendments   
  • Drafting and issuing interim and final work certificates
  • Creating regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)   
  • Answering employee queries about HR-related issues   
  • Absence management   
  • Assisting with contract formalities for transfer and termination processes 
  •  Liaising with employees and relevant authorities regarding maternity, short and long-term sickness, pension fund, and accident cases and following up on pending cases, contact with authorities. 
  • Updating Org Charts in the intranet   
  • Providing support and advice for employees re HR directives / policies and procedures and system implementation

Education & Qualifications   
  •  Degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred. 
Work Experience 
  •  At least two years of experience in HR administration        
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or a relevant role
  • Experience with HR software
