Reporting organisationally to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will be a key member of the FIFA26 FP&A team, and work in close collaboration with budget owners, project leaders to ensure smooth financial processes and accurate reporting.
THE POSITION The main responsibilities and oversights of the FP&A Analyst for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Assist the FP&A team in coordinating with budget owners across devisions on budget and financial matters
- Support the preparation and updating of budgets and forecasts for various departments and subsidiaries
- Help prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring that key stakeholders have up-to-date information
- Track and verify FIFA26 related expenditures and ensure proper documentation and invoice booking
- Assist in the review of budget assumptions and provide input during yearly, quarterly, and ad hoc reviews
- Conduct preliminary analysis on tournament and event costs, comparing actuals to budgeted figures
- Provide assistance in the preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the FP&A team and senior management
- Support the FP&A team in ensuring compliance with FIFA16 finance requirements
- Assist with building, updating and maintaining dashboards and KPI reporting
YOUR PROFILE Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Work Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting or FP&A roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
- Ability to handle detailed financial data and reports with accuracy
- Willingness to support the team and learn from senior members
Languages
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus
