Reporting organizationally to the Executive Director, Venue Business Strategy, the Head of Analytics and Business Intelligence will be a key member of the FIFA26 Strategy and Planning team, and work in close collaboration with the Strategic Planning and Analytics, Business Intelligence and Commercial teams and other key individuals responsible for delivering successful commercial planning.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Head of Analytics and Business Intelligence for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

Support the development and implementation of the analytics and business intelligence (BI) strategy and platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026, focusing on revenue optimization and data-driven decision-making.
Develop working relationships with outside vendors and help establish prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience and to increase additional revenue opportunities.
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing various data sources related to ticket sales and pricing, tradition ancillary revenue streams as well as new revenue streams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to reporting frameworks to monitor revenue generation initiatives.
Work closely with the Executive Director, Venue Business Strategy to execute analytical projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective use of analytical tools and technologies.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and develop revenue growth opportunities as well as evaluate pricing strategies
Assist in the development of financial models, revenue forecasts, Match Day Proformas and budgetary plans based on data-driven insights and revenue growth projections.
Support the implementation of data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns, collaborating with the Ticketing, Commercial and Host City Management teams to drive revenue and engagement.
Collaborate with the Finance department to track revenue performance, analyze financial metrics, and contribute to the development of revenue optimization initiatives.
Support Functional Areas responsible for stadium revenues and expenses.
Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, data providers, and technology partners to ensure access to relevant data, tools, and resources necessary for analytics and revenue strategy efforts.
Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements in data analytics, and technological innovations to continuously enhance the effectiveness of analytics and revenue strategy initiatives.
Prepare presentations and reports on analytical findings, revenue performance, and recommendations for Key Stakeholders.
Foster a data-driven culture and promote the importance of revenue-focused decision-making across the organization, collaborating with various teams to align strategies and achieve revenue targets.
Adhere to data privacy regulations, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines while handling and analyzing data for analytics and revenue strategy purposes.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree or similar education in Business, Data Analytics, or other related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in live sports and/or entertainment business, data analytics or related field. Financial consulting experience is preferred as well.
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team
Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Exceptional proficiency in core M365 software (PowerPoint and Excel) with experience working in Microsoft Power Platform.
Extensive experience working in Online Collaboration Tools and Planning Environments.
Proficiency in working with data analytics solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP BI or similar.
Experience with deploying and maintaining complex data models.
General awareness and understanding of current technological developments, and their potential to continuously disrupt and innovate ways-of-working.
