Job Summary

The Manager/SR. Manager of Ticketing and Inside Sales will establish the foundation for FC Cincinnati’s Inside Sales program and oversee the organization’s new business development team. The primary responsibility will be to recruit, train, and develop a team of entry-level sales associates while maintaining a strong focus on revenue generation. In addition, this role will manage new business development efforts to maximize ticket sales growth across all products. This position will report directly to the VP of Ticket Sales and Premium Hospitality and will play a key role in driving new business while preparing future sales talent for the organization.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and oversee a world-class Inside Sales program, establishing standards, structure, and best practices.
  • Recruit, preboard, and onboard incoming Inside Sales associates and New Business Development representatives.
  • Push team members outside of their comfort zones to maximize professional growth and sales performance.
  • Lead by example through consistent attitude, effort, and results.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled training focused on B2B, Group, Premium, and Consumer ticket sales.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly activity levels, pipelines, and revenue production for Inside Sales and New Business Development teams.
  • Collaborate with ticket sales leadership to drive innovation, alignment, and excellence across the department.
  • Enhance presentation and in-arena appointment skills of team members through ongoing coaching and supervision.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones to support the personal and professional development of team members.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to analyze pipelines, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies, campaigns, and contests designed to maximize ticket sales.
  • Drive the Inside Sales and New Business Development teams to consistently meet or exceed their sales targets.
  • Contribute to training and development initiatives across the entire FC Cincinnati ticket sales department.
  • Represent FC Cincinnati at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting opportunities to identify and hire top talent.
  • Invest in the professional growth and personal well-being of team members.
  • Work all FC Cincinnati home matches and other events as required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sports, sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience; sports and entertainment industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in Consumer ticket sales, B2B, and/or group sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop entry-level sales representatives.
