Job Title: First Team Performance Analyst

Job Summary
The First Team Performance Analyst, reporting to the Head Coach, will support the coaching staff and wider technical staff by leading the review of player video and integrating statistical analysis. Such activities include, but are not limited to; training analysis, post-match analysis, opponent goalkeeper pre-match analysis and providing the recruitment department with video support.
What You’ll Do:
- Create written opposition reports.
- Work with the Technical Staff Data Analyst to provide a statistical representation of the upcoming opponent.
- Work with the coaching staff to create an opposition video for presentation to players.
- Assist in opposition set piece analysis.
- Assist the coaching staff with game plan creation.
- Capture & code all first team training sessions.
- Maintain a video database for training.
- Manage the storage of all first team training.
- Attend all first team games both home & away.
- Capture and code live first team games in-line with the FC Cincinnati playing philosophy.
- Provide half-time feedback to coaching staff.
- Post-match coding in-line with FC Cincinnati playing philosophy.
- Manage the storage of all first team games.
- Work with the Head coach to create a post-match video review in-line with FC Cincinnati’s playing philosophy and key principles.
- Work alongside the coaching and IDP staff to produce individual review sessions.
- Database individual player actions to create developmental videos.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as directed by GM, Head Coach, & coaching staff.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Performance Analysis related subject required
- US Soccer B license or equivalent governing body required
- Master’s degree in a Performance Analysis related subject preferred
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience as a Performance Analyst within professional soccer
- Extensive technical and tactical knowledge
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure environments
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Coaches, Players and key stake holders
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in using, but not limited to: Hudl Sportscode & Platform, Spiideo, Telestration software, E.g Tactic pro, Coach paint, Studio, Microsoft office products, and iMovie
