Nature of Work:
We are seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join our finance team. This role will be central in driving strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and strong business partnership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about contributing to the success of a professional sports organization.

Examples of work performed:
  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans
  • Provide in-depth variance analysis and performance reporting to executives and department leaders
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (ticketing, sponsorships, operations, player personnel) to track KPIs and improve financial outcomes.  
  • Create and prepare, through engagement with internal and vendor resources, match day flash and KPI reports
  • Deliver board-ready presentations and clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
  • Streamline financial processes, reporting, and systems for efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure alignment of departmental budgets with overall organizational goals
  • Engage with NWSL League finance team for peer reporting and KPI benchmarking
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to define, refine, and create periodic management and compliance reports

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Typical Office Conditions
  • Hybrid role based in downtown Denver. Expected to be in the office 4 days per week for collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
Minimum
  • 4-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Google Workspace 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or high-growth organizations preferred but not required
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or high-growth organizations

Compensation:
  • Base salary range of $115,000-$125,000 per annum
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
