The Marketing Manager will work alongside the Head of Marketing and Sr. Director of Business Operations to drive revenue, grow the fan base, and elevate the Power FC brand. This role will be responsible for Power FC's Grassroots & Experiential Marketing efforts, Campaign Strategy & Execution, Project & Traffic Management, and Lifecycle Marketing initiatives.

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support ticket sales, attendance, fan engagement, and overall business objectives. This individual will serve as a key cross-functional leader, partnering closely with Ticketing, Partnerships, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, and Communications to ensure successful campaign execution.

The Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Brand and work collaboratively with the Communications, Content, and Sales. 

The Communications team will lead player appearances and media opportunities, while the Marketing Manager will work with the Social Media Manager to maintain regular engagement with players at training and match days to support brand building, content creation, fan engagement, and the promotion of club initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of key marketing campaigns and seasonal tentpole initiatives that drive attendance, fan growth, and revenue.
• Develop integrated marketing plans supporting Season Memberships, Group Sales, Single Match Tickets, Hospitality, Merchandise, and Community initiatives.
• Establish campaign objectives, audience strategies, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimize future marketing efforts.
 
Revenue & Fan Growth Initiatives
• Work closely with the Ticketing team to develop and execute marketing plans that support revenue-generating initiatives, including Season Membership Renewals, New Deposits, Single Match Ticket Sales, and Group Sales.
• Identify opportunities to grow the Power FC fan base through targeted acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
• Support database growth initiatives through digital, grassroots, and experiential marketing efforts.
Grassroots & Experiential Marketing
• Lead Power FC's grassroots and experiential marketing strategy, including community events, festivals, youth soccer activations, and fan engagement opportunities.
• Develop programs that increase brand visibility and deepen connections with local communities.
• Manage execution of on-site activations and fan-facing experiences that drive awareness and attendance.
Digital, Email, Website & Mobile Marketing
• Develop, execute, and manage email and mobile marketing campaigns that support club objectives.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing to ensure campaigns are integrated across all digital channels.
• Utilize CRM and fan data to improve audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign performance.
• Manage, maintain, and regularly update the team website to ensure content is accurate, current, engaging, and aligned with organizational branding and communication objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with the Communications Coordinator and Head of Communications to ensure campaign messaging, timelines, and promotional strategies are aligned across marketing, public relations, and content channels.
• Collaborate with Creative Services to develop campaign briefs and ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
• Work cross-functionally with Ticketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, Matchday Operations, and Digital teams to execute integrated campaigns.
• Serve as a central project manager for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and departments.
• Collaborate with the Head of Brand to execute the merchandise plan, driving product awareness, sales, and consistent brand experience across all fan touchpoints.
Brand Management
• Ensure all marketing initiatives align with the Power FC brand identity, voice, and visual standards.
• Contribute to the development of brand campaigns that strengthen awareness, affinity, and fandom growth.
• Identify innovative opportunities to elevate the Power FC brand within the local market and women's sports landscape.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sports marketing, brand marketing, experiential marketing, or a related field.
• Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of CRM, email marketing, digital marketing, and fan engagement strategies.
• Experience working in professional sports, entertainment, live events, or related industries preferred.

The candidate must be able to successfully pass a background check.
