Position Overview
DC Power FC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Videographer Intern to support the production of dynamic video and photography content that showcases our players, matches, and community initiatives for Spring 2026. This role will be instrumental in developing visual media that strengthens our brand presence across digital and traditional platforms. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency, creative vision, and a strong interest in sports media, while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

COMPENSATION
This is an unpaid internship. The selected candidate must be eligible to receive course credit for completing the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Filming and Photography
· Assist with on-site and on-location shoots, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
· Capture high-quality video and photography of matches, practices, community events, and behind-the-scenes activations.
Video Editing
· Edit and assemble raw footage into professional, polished content.
· Incorporate graphics, sound, and formatting to optimize videos for social media, website, and in-stadium displays.
Content Creation
· Develop and pitch creative video concepts aligned with DC Power FC’s brand identity and marketing goals.
· Produce engaging content designed to highlight players, fans, and community stories.
Organization and Maintenance
· Maintain an organized archive of video assets and ensure proper file management.
· Support the upkeep of production equipment and ensure adherence to brand standards.
Collaboration
· Work closely with the marketing, communications, and creative teams to fulfill project requirements.
· Contribute to team brainstorming sessions with innovative content ideas.
Post-Production
· Perform color correction, sound mixing, and apply visual effects where appropriate.
· Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications, brand guidelines, and project deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
· Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
· Knowledge of camera systems, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
· Must have access to and be able to provide their own video and photography equipment.
· Strong visual storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and composition.
· Understanding of digital platforms and how to tailor content for diverse audiences.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
The selected candidate must pass a background check.
Educational Background
· Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
· A strong interest in sports and/or sports media is preferred.
