Position Summary
D.C. United Human Resources has an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, organized undergraduate or graduate student to learn about full-cycle recruiting by joining us for the Spring 2026 internship. D.C. United HR Intern will be introduced each step of the recruiting process and will have the opportunity to participate in many of the steps.
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship, and only individuals who are eligible to receive course credit for the internship qualify.
Location
Available to work at Audi Field during normal office hours at least 2 hours per week.
Schedule
Flexible schedule, 8 – 15 hours per week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
- Researching recruiting sources
- Reviewing, revising, and posting job postings
- Learn about, create, and potentially conduct screening interviews
Key qualities include:
- Must be an active college or graduate student eligible to receive credit for the internship
- Coachable, hardworking, multi-tasking, and positive attitude
- Ability to effectively interact with staff and candidates
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- The selected candidate must pass a background check
