POSITION SUMMARY:
Columbus Crew is seeking to hire part-time Youth Soccer Coaches to support all Crew Youth soccer programming, including camps, clinics, and community initiatives, throughout the Columbus and Central Ohio area. These positions report to the Manager of Youth Programs.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience coaching youth soccer across a range of age groups and skill levels, with a strong commitment to player development and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Coaches must be able to travel independently to various training and event locations within the Columbus area.
This role requires availability during weekends and other non-traditional hours. All coaching will be conducted in person, and hiring will take place on a rolling basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Promote the Columbus Crew in a professional, respectful, and engaging manner while supporting youth soccer events, activations, and community programs.
- Serve as a representative of the Columbus Crew within the community, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and positive brand representation.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow youth coaches and the broader Columbus Crew Youth team to ensure a high-quality experience across all programs.
- Utilize Columbus Crew Youth coaching curriculum to deliver age-appropriate, development-focused training for players of all ages and ability levels.

- Willingness to work non-traditional schedules, including weekends, evenings, occasional weekdays, and select holidays.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- USSF Grassroots License or higher preferred.
- Previous experience coaching grassroots and/or competitive youth soccer teams or clubs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel independently to venues or designated meeting locations.
- Ability to study, understand, and stay informed on the Columbus Crew roster, club initiatives, and key happenings.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light manual labor as required.
