The Chicago Fire Football Club (Chicago Fire FC) is an American professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top U.S. domestic league. Founded on October 8, 1997, on the 126th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, the Club began play in 1998 as one of the League’s first expansion franchises. The Fire have won six major domestic titles, including the 1998 MLS Cup; the 1998, 2000, 2003, and 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups; as well as the 2003 MLS Supporters’ Shield.
 
The Club recently announced plans to build a $650M+ privately financed downtown stadium in Chicago in 2028. Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a dedicated Manager, Soccer In The Community to join our team! The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our Soccer In The Community business in Chicago, including programming operating at the Endeavor Health Fire Pitch. This individual will be responsible for motivating staff to grow both participation and revenue, while expanding partnerships with schools, clubs, and youth sports organizations. The Manager will ensure excellence in customer service, administration, and communication, and will play a pivotal role in growing Chicago Fire youth programming across the city. By elevating the program experience and strengthening connections with families, the Manager will help deepen the community’s relationship with Chicago Fire FC.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all city programs, including; Little Sparks, Camps, Field Trips, STEM, and Classes
  • Effectively manage staff to schedule and operate year-round programs at the Endeavor Health Fire Pitch
  • Inspire staff to meet seasonal participation and revenue goals
  • Oversee program administration and operations to ensure excellence in customer service, safety, and program quality
  • Implement new programs and partnerships that directly impact participation to generate new revenue streams
  • Manage new and existing partnerships with key youth and community soccer stakeholders
  • Design and execute a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to attract new players while fostering meaningful connections with club partners, fans, and the wider soccer community
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of youth/adult soccer programming experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management experience
  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative work environment is required along with strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ticketing software and in database usage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Spanish language fluency
  • Previous experience selling or marketing for youth organization
 
Compensation:
  • This role offers a salary range of $57,500-$62,500 and is eligible for a revenue incentive bonus plan
  • Final salary is determined by carefully considering the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience. This role is classified as Full-time, exempt
  • This role is bonus eligible based on club-wide goals
