The Chicago Fire Football Club (Chicago Fire FC) is an American professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top U.S. domestic league. Founded on October 8, 1997, on the 126th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, the Club began play in 1998 as one of the League’s first expansion franchises. The Fire have won six major domestic titles, including the 1998 MLS Cup; the 1998, 2000, 2003, and 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups; as well as the 2003 MLS Supporters’ Shield.

Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a dedicated CRM Administrator to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for our CRM, Salesforce. You will be supporting a wide range of revenue-driving teams such as Ticket Sales and Corporate Partnerships.  We are searching for a knowledgeable, experienced, passionate and articulate team player to join our organization. The CRM Administrator will report to Sr. Manager, Business Strategy & Analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, ensuring the system meets the operational needs of the Club.
  • Manage all day-to-day CRM administrative tasks, including user setup, security, data hygiene, field/object creation, and workflow/automation (Flows, Process Builder, triggers).
  • Lead CRM onboarding and training for new employees, while developing and maintaining training materials (guides, FAQs, Trailhead paths, etc.).
  • Partner with internal teams to improve CRM efficiency, including UI experience for internal users.
  • Build, maintain, and assist in Salesforce reports to support business strategy, marketing, ticketing, and partnership departments.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integrations between Salesforce and related tools and data providers (JotForm, deal management platforms, lead nurturing tools like Wolfcycle/Conversica, integrated mobile apps, deduplication tools, data providers like ZoomInfo, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to reconcile CRM with external data sources, including integrations with a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Sigma).
  • Support and enhance Salesforce features such as email templates, campaigns, cadences, and customer journeys within Salesforce and connected platforms.
  • Perform regular system audits and org health reviews, staying current on Salesforce releases, security updates, and AppExchange packages.
  • Provide support for data-driven fan engagement, revenue optimization, and sponsorship/partnership initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional Salesforce administration experience, with a strong understanding of data structures, workflows, and CRM best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and report/dashboard building.
  • Proven experience in training end users, building onboarding programs, and supporting adoption.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet firm deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity and system reliability.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performing work environment
  • Ability to independently solve problems and use judgment in escalating issues to supervisors
  • SQL skills and knowledge of relational database concepts.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, OR equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Admin, Marketing Cloud, or Platform App Builder certifications a plus).
  • Exposure to integrated marketing/advertising tools (Marketing Cloud, Meta Ads, Conversica, Wolfcycle, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau).
  • Experience within a sports organization or entertainment business.
 
Compensation:
  • This role offers a salary range of $70,000-$80,000 Final salary is determined by carefully considering the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience. This role is classified as Full-time, exempt
