Position Summary
As the Gameday Manager your primary responsibility will be to plan, stage and execute all aspects of the gameday experience. This position plays a critical role in fulfilling the Chattanooga FC’s purpose to build community through the world’s game. You will be expected and empowered to facilitate the success of CFC football initiatives and events, advancing the sport and creating memorable experiences for players and fans alike.
Essential Functions
● Event Planning: Coordinate all logistics related to gameday operations, including concourse activations, ticketing, gate experience, VIP entries, security, etc. to ensure a seamless and enjoyable fan experience. This includes all event setup and tear down for each gameday and while coordinating with other departments and stadium vendors to assure venue readiness for all events
● Maintaining Equipment: Maintaining all the in game and operations equipment used around the stadium.
Ordering and repairing field boards, tents and inflatable equipment.
● Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and lead a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and training to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service.
● Organizing pre-game and halftime entertainment, interactive activities, and promotions.
● Work with various departments to create a first-class atmosphere within the stadium, including the development of PA scripts and run-of-show timelines.
● Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle unexpected situations during events and have contingency plans in place to address issues like inclement weather, emergencies, or disruptions.
● Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for gameday operations, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
● Ensure compliance with all league regulations and safety protocols to safeguard the well-being of fans, staff, and athletes.
● Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and partners to integrate their offerings into the fan experience in a meaningful and non-intrusive way.
● Activation Management: Manage and facilitate partnership activations and in game content.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● At least one year of professional or collegiate sports administration experience is preferred
● Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management or similar field preferred
● Ability to establish rapport and navigate complex relationships
● Experience with simple repairs, and tool experience
● Strong Leadership skills and ability to lead multi-level and diverse teams
● Experience with Google Suite
● Creative problem-solving skills, calm under pressure, and superior attention to detail
● Excellent negotiations skills
● Self-starter with the ability to adapt and multi-task
● Ability to foster strong relationships and build trust with others

Licensing and Certifications
● Possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements
● Must have or be willing to complete SafeSport training
● Maintain legally required employment eligibility
Physical Requirements
Heavy - lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds frequently. Bending, stretching, and reaching requires. Some sitting and climbing, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended time.
Physical Environment: This position is routinely exposed to external elements which include heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid and extreme weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Supplemental Information
Department: Operations
Work Schedule: Monday – Sunday, Hours will vary due to work assignment. Must be able to work flexible hours which will include extended days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
