Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league’s 27th club in January 2019.  In June 2021, Austin FC began play in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. 
 
Austin FC is actively seeking a driven and motivated Manager, Corporate Partnerships who will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners in order to successfully execute partner objectives and contractual obligations while also assisting the team selling partnership inventory and major sponsorships across multiple properties/platforms of the corporate sector. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting the Club with the Austin community to promote the Austin FC brand while building and maintaining relationships.

You Will:
  • Manage, activate and maintain relationships with corporate partners and successfully execute partner objectives and contractual obligations each year with the highest standards; and
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals and presentations to existing and prospective clients; and 
  • Communicate status of sales/updates with Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships and service staff by providing weekly reports on service and sale activity and results to track individual performance, inventory and revenue; and 
  • Network at local events including community, partnership, and other related opportunities; and
  • Work with marketing, promotions, ticket sales, ticket services, public relations, community relations and other departments to maximize cross-selling opportunities, share new ideas and fulfill corporate partner programs; and
  • Cultivate new corporate partner relationships and optimize existing accounts through outstanding customer service to drive sponsorship revenues and facilitate marketing partnerships; and 
  • Work closely with corporate partnership sales manager to ensure contractual fulfillment with an emphasis towards maximizing cross promotional opportunities; and
  • Work game days and special events to entertain existing partners and prospects.
 
You Have:
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • High proficiency in relationship building, relationship management and networking skills
  • Evidence of being a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion both internally and externally 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media with diverse audiences
  • English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages – even better
  • An outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM systems. Proficiency in SalesForce/Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Prior sports and entertainment industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency with presentation development, computer applications, and general office software is necessary
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
